More Cali Pictures

Walking down to the harbor on Sunday morning for breakfast at Aldo's with Brandon and the boys, my Mom and Dad, Grandma, my Aunt and Uncle and cousin, Abe, Susan, and sweet baby Cian.
The whole shebang (almost).

My Dad and the boys. They played tag for an hour it seemed. So sweet. This is what makes it hard to be 2400 miles away.

My girlie Susan and I. We both moved to California at the same time. We both hardly knew anybody and became fast friends. She also happens to be my brother's fiancee and the mother of my sweet adorable nephew! I'm so sad I didn't get to see her new cute little cottage this time around as I was able to enjoy the other one so much.

Gameboy or family? That's a tough choice when you're seven.

Brandon's artsy picture.

I love the feel of Santa Cruz. Check out this old boat. Isn't it absolutely fabulous?

Monkeys
Sweet baby Cian, my Mommy and I. Hahaha I just realized what a horribley bad picture this is of me, but I don't care I love pictures of my mommy and me!
Justin picking flowers for Mommy. That's got to be one of the things I miss most about California - the beautiful flowers the kids always picked for me. I had gone to Target and bought five tiny vases to hold their flowers and they were always full with flowers they had picked for me. When we went to Mt. Bonnell the other week Brandon asked the kids, "Isn't this beautiful?" Shawn emphatically says, "No!" When Brandon asked him why, he says "Because there are no flowers." Awwww. Today he says he hates Texas and loves California because he wants to see Oma and Grandma and Grandpa. Talk about breaking my heart. All I could say was I understand baby.
Being cute
More cute.

Puppies
Monday, February 19, 2007
Kellye has purebred Australian Shepherds and the female had twelve puppies four days ago. The boys and I spent the night at her house the day after they were born and cuddled the heck out of them. They are so adorable and SO tiny. We took about a million pictures. Here are a few. The dog in the picture with Shawn is the daddy. The mommy was too protective to let us get close so we had to sneak the puppies out when she was outside going potty. The boys were SO very excited to see such teeny tiny puppies - Shawn couldn't hold them enough!

Mt. Bonnell
Sunday, February 18, 2007
We climbed Mt. Bonnell that has the best view of the Austin skyline and a spectacular view of the river today. The beauty and serenity reminds me of Westcliff. The boys climbed the rocks and Brandon enjoyed his new tripod and took tons of pictures. The weather was a perfect windless and gorgeous 67 degrees. I'm so very happy to discover Austin has places like this!

More with the Bonnell. We went up there again yesterday, the boys and I, and explored all the trails. Another gorgeous day at 74 degrees and clear blue skies. These above are the pictures from Monday.
