Shawn's teacher is the most awesome teacher ever. They came home from school one day with these bat hats. Imagine 15 kindergartners running around with these things on their heads. SO. FREAKIN. ADORABLE. Although this one picture was VERY hard to get - somebody was not keen on having his picture taken with his bat hat even tho he loves it!By the way, so you all have a heads up, the kids will be having a grandparents day event at their school in the spring. I know we've shot ourselves in the foot being alllllll the way out here and expecting you all to come out for a grandparents day, but I'm hoping at least ONE of you will be able to make it? One out of six ain't bad... I'll send more specifics when I have them.
This last weekend on Friday night:

Have you been to south padre island yet? The beach there is the best in Texas. I'm not saying it's La Jolla but it is a great beach. Don't knock Texas beaches until you've been there. ;)
